Johan Sverdrup Development is the most important Norwegian industrial project and Ventor has pleasure to be part of it.
Due to the signed contracts we were engaged in insulation, prefab workshop, surface protection (included metalizing) and architectural works for Utility and Living Quarters module, with an area of 14500 m2, a capacity of 560 beds, recreation areas, change rooms, helicopter deck, helicopter hangar and other facilities required for operation of an offshore hotel.
The 15th of March 2019 Johan Sverdrup ULQ was transported to the offshore field and, referring Kvaerner’s statement, it was handed over operator Equinor exactly as agreed in the initial contract. The platform is one of four platforms of the phase I of the Johan Sverdrup field development.
